The 1% openness fabric has a tighter weave designed to significantly reduce sunlight, glare, and solar heat while maintaining limited visibility outdoors. It provides greater daytime privacy and less outward visibility than 5% solar screen fabric.
Solar screen fabric is not room-darkening or blackout. It provides daytime privacy, but privacy is reduced at night when interior lights are on.
